Default What's the difference between Losi alum clutch shoe & Losi long wear alum clutch shoe

Part numbers are LOSA9108 and LOSA9109.

Do the long wear ones really last longer? If so what am I giving up?

The Losi long wear shoes does last significantly longer then the normal Losi aluminum shoes. The long wear is a harder aluminum so it last longer but slips more than the normal ones, which grips more but wears out faster. The Losi long wear shoes it the way to go if you have to choose between the two.

I gotta agree with 8&stuff I am trying my first set on my 8t with GRP .28 and they are lasting well. I have 7 club race days and lotsa practice on them ( basically the whole season so far) and they are still going strong. I can't picture anything else doing any better.

With my motor and 14t bell the 4 losi gold springs work best for me. try em!

I have been using king headz 6061 shoes and 2 green, 2 gold. This combo works well for me. 1.5 gallons and still measure 24.1. I have blown through losi shoes and M2C shoes in a weekend. Just my 2 cents.
