fuel filter

hi there new to the site looks good quick 1 for u all just got a fastrax fuel filter primer for my savage what i need to no is do i still have to prime the engine with this fitted or not or does it have a primer built in thanks

Every engine has to be primed when it's 1st started. You usually aclompish this by turning the engine over and plugging the pipe tip without the glow ignigtor. This brings fuel from the tank to the carb. It sounds like you have a littlenpump styly button to do the same thing.
