I am not sure exactly of your problem but here are two solutions.

If the servo is pushing past the point of turning the wheel to full lock, then you need to back the end points down.

If the servo is turning all the way via the radio, but you are not getting full steering throw on the car and you epa is already maxed out. I would make sure the dual rate is turned up all the way, and then reset your end points.

I have a feeling one of these two solutions will fix your issue.

The Mugen has A TON of steering. Start with your EPA at 100 and adjust from there. Trust me, that will most likely more than enough. I dont think the Mugen hits lock until its at like 90deg.....

make sure your steering link is the correct length....via the manual. both the servo saver and the servo horn should be pointed at 3 o'clock with wheels straight.

A longer servo arm will give more throw if needed.

I have always noticed this with the DX3.0 and 2.0, the radio doesn't seem to drive the servo far enough. Try a longer servo horn as a bandaid, or try using someone else's transmitter with your servos and I have a feeling the problem will disappear.

Bottom line I would invest in a quality transmitter, the DX3S will work with your rx and I have had zero problems out of mine in 6 months of weekly racing.

If you go to Jake's (JCG) Saturday (and bring the manual for your radio please) I'll see if I can help you. It could be dual-rate, epa, various things... We can also try binding your receiver to my M8 (I have a Spektrum module in it) to make sure you don't have a servo issue. (Doubtful, but it is a test that we could do.)
