some radio system's require both Digital servo's to function in certain mode's.....having both digital servo's will eliminate that worry.....the difference between an analog servo and a digital would be the motor's the board and how they operate....analog servo's are not as picky about EPA or Centering....Digital on the other hand are VERY sensitive to EPA and are Always trying to re-center them selves...overall people have opinion's on what they run and why...the 965 should last you a while.

Digital is way better, longer lasting, more accurate, smoother, stronger, more tunible ( cant spell ) worth every penny

I run both digital servos so I can use the fast frame rate on my radio. I do notice a difference when I raise the frame rate the car responds with just a little bit of hesitation compared to the faster frame rate. Everything about these cars is sensitive. I have gone through 6 throttle servos this year so far. EPA set good and linkage set good but I missed where it was hitting onthe mid guard and hat was enough to make it blow out. I shaved the mud guard and now the sevo is fine. Bottom line I'd f you have a rado that can do a fast frame rate why not get the sevos so you can use it.

I found this article last night when i was researching digital vs. analog. Although its somewhat geared toward helis, its a pretty good read.
