Does the 8ight 2.0 come with the smart diff?

Smart diff is sold separate.

I was gonna get 1 for my stepson and he said his buggy has enough turning, he would only want one for his truggy he said.

im new to rc and have a losi 2.0 truggy what the difference between the standard diff and the smart diff ??
