Default Tricked into buying charger!

I was at the track and found out that my current battery charger never charged my batteries fully. So someone that was there sold me a Mega 2 charger and said it would work with my Ni-mh battery packs. Then i looked in the manual and it said it was not made for those battery packs because it cant detect when they are fully charged. So can i still use it for them as long as i dont over charge them? I would tell if they are charged by how warm they are. Would that work or no?

If it says no then I would say no also. The difference between unplugging at the right temp & smoking the pack is the time it takes you to go to the other end of the house, piss & come back.Better safe than sorry.

Any hump pack will fit in a 8 radio box. You have to use the hump cover and not the flat cover. Here is a page full of them any of the 5 cell packs will work except the last two. The configuration has to be 3 cells on bottom and 2 on top.

As long as it is in the 5+2 config it will fit in the 8ight box. Which charger are you using? The only difference from nicad to nimh is that the nimh needs a lower amp charge. If you charger can charge at 1.2 amps or lower then you can charge nimh packs on it.

Give the guy back the charger and get your money back. Then buy what you need.
