Default Losi starter box

I have the losi 1.0 race roller buggy and was wondering if the starter box that comes with the 2.0 rtr would work with the 1.0 buggy? Will it have to be adjusted and are they sold to work with a gel cell or stick packs?
Any help would be nice.
Oh also anyone know if the Dynamite Mega 2 charger with charger nimh receiver packs?

I know the 2.0 works on the 1.0 box so I dont see why the 2.0 box wont work for a 1.0. My advice is use a 4cel lipo they are a much better way to go.

$30 is expensive?

There's a popular online auction site that rymes with flebay, that sells them cheap. They're from China, but chances are most of the lipos on the market originate from China. Just make sure you get a good C rating and you are ready to go!

I got mine for $12.50

I run a gel cell in mine. It came wired for sticks, just made a new harness for the larger battery. The losi box works well, doesn't seem to be able to handle a high load though, I'll still use my chrometop for breaking in.
I do like the way my truggy fits on the box though. The other thing I like abot the losi is it's narrower, fits on pit board better than the chrometop.

the foot print on the 2.0 chassis are the exact same.....they are longer overall but the edge's that touch the box are identical.
