Default Rebuilding Shocks and Diffs

How can you tell it is time to rebuild your shocks or diffs? How many gallons do you typically get between rebuilds?

Thanks a lot.

I change bearing and fluids every gallon. While I have it apart I look for worn or broken teeth.

Every race meeting pal. Can't afford to have a diff fail during quali/finals and shock oil i also do every meeting. Just good practice to see if anything is wearing and needs replacing

For shocks, refill when the shocks aren't smooth. For diffs, clean and refill every gallon or so, and if you only have enough time to do one diff do the center.
