I called the local hobby shop today and I was looking for futaba digital servos..I have Futaba 3Pm 2.4GHz radio W/ R603ff reciver The manual said to only run futaba servos. So I asked him First how much the futaba was with 150+ torque or a lil more of course a lil over $100 bucks. I then asked if I could run different servos with this reciver and radio he said yes and recomended Hi point so my question is this has anyone ever heard of this servo and if so how good are they and also is it possible to run different servos other then the futaba with the fataba reciver by it having the j connector? Thanks to all that reply

you can run any servo with futaba receivers.

J connector is the same except it misses alignment tab

You can run any servos. Without the alignment tab you have to pay attention to make sure that you don't plug in the connector the wrong way.

I have never heard of Hi-point servos. How much are they? Are they digital? What are the specs? Honestly, $100+ for servos is one of the best investments you can make! I would save up and go with Futaba servos (or any of the high-end servo manufacturers). Trust me, this is one area that you don't want to skimp in!
