New Associated RC8C coming out?

Just curious, because it seems that a lot of people are selling their RC8's lately. When Losi released their 8ight 2.0, the same thing happened...everyone started selling their 1.0's. Just curious, when do you think Associated will launch their new 1/8 buggy?

Whew I thought for a min there ae was pulling a kyosho move to sell more kits. A buddy of mine has both cars and he says the new buggy is a completly different car much easier to drive.

Wow, that different? What are the main modifications that make it easier to drive? Thank you,

the car in question is mine yes I did find the new rc8b easier to
drive I had most all the mods done on the old one but not the
shock towers or the battery up front like the new rc8b
for me the car (rc8b) steers quicker or rotates faster in the turns
jumps better on landing it seems to be more supple it's like I can
push it harder but hard for me to explain it's not just one thing but
all the little changes that have been made make it better or it may be
all my head but if I think I'm then I'm

This looks like next generation production parts to me...

That chassis is a BCE Chassis. Which I think they almost always run, especially being at the worlds.

Its interesting that Maifield wasn't running the blue aluminum "B" plate. The A, C and D are the aluminum ones.

mgtmadness2007 11-27-2010 01:43 PM

It looks black or aluminum color. I wonder if it is aftermarket or a modded stock peice., or even a new improved B Plate.

mgtmadness2007 11-27-2010 01:46 PM

Looks like they used a DA Sander on the chassis.

which white springs are on the back? Are those Jammin? Are they stiffer or softer than the Associated ones?

Softer than the Associated black springs or softer than the bronze but stiffer than the silver?

jmaxey51 11-27-2010 02:32 PM

just a tad softer than the black (i think), they feel a tad softer than AEs softest spring... i know jammin guys ran the soft AE spring to get in between the soft and medium jammin spring... or so they said. dont quote me on this, its been a good while since i have ran jammin and i cant remember how it went, the white may be a little stiffer than AEs soft but softer than AE medium spring.
