I personally would just go with the stock engine. Adam uses "off the shelf" engines and gets the same runtime or more than what I see some engine mod companies saying. I think casey does as well for that matter.

A stock engine will be much more power than you will ever need, and provide great runtime. Might save you a little money as well.
As soon as my GRP's are gone, I am definately switching to Novarossi.

I'm still getting used to the +4, as it's just past the break-in stage. I find the power band to be very consistant across the board, and the top end is much better. The O.S. Vspec, which is now my back-up engine has a great bottom end but you can get plenty of low end out of the +4 with the proper pipe and header combination. This engine idles all day long and never flames out, which can partly be attributed to the Cold Fusion fuel surging through it as well.

Very happy with my plus 4, 2.5 gallons through it and it continues to run strong, very good at idle. At 2.5 gallons I still had the original plug in it, only changed it to prevent a failure in a race. Very happy, next nitro motor for whatever will be a NR. Good luck and go for it...
