buggy? Futaba BLS452
cheap, fast, strong enough for buggy, light, very low battery consuption unlike Hitec, JR or Ace servos.

Right there with everyone else on the associated 1015! For the price you'd be hard pressed to find a better servo, they are quick beyond belief!

Ace/AE's are Weak to say the least.

Brass VS Titanium

You do the math.

People really don't get it. Nothing can match the 7955. Well the 7950 and 7940 will when they are out. Other than that, nothing.

+1000 on the 7955 these things are bulletproof. I ran JR 9100s/ 9100T last year and I like the hitec much better. I use the 7955 and 7965 for throttle/ brake. I like the throttle/ brake servo to be on the faster side .15 is too slow.

I recently talked to hitec and the 7940 & 7950 are not going to be released until august at the earliest.

What I heard was that the company that was producing thier amplifiers produced a bad batch and they were failing, so instead of Hitec releasing them with crappy amps like most other servo companies would do, they dumped all of the bad ones and found a new amp supplier. That's the reason for the delay, which I think really says a LOT about the company. It would have been much easier and cost friendly just to dump the bad servos on the customer. Again that's just what I heard, and have no idea of how correct it is.

i'd only use 7940 for brake/throttle, it might be a bit on the weaker side for truggy and monster truck, even on 2s lipo

I think 7955 is perfect, 375oz and .12sec on 2s lipo is plenty fast.

isn't 7950 slower too but more toque? i can't see where you need more than 375, when it can be used on a baja for steering.

7940 would be perfect for 1/10 scale and onroad probably.

Way over $100 and is plagued with chronic circuit board failure. It also has weak gears and the solder joints come off the motor. They do warranty them, but its inconvenient.
Buy a Hitec and forget about it.

Default jr servo

I ran the same JR 8711 in 2 different truggies and a buggy over a period of 2 yrs. multiple gallons of fuel and I still have not had a single problem. They are not the fastest out there for sure.
