rc car makeing a wierd noise

Questions?? rc car makeing a wierd noise

my car is making a weird noise. when i accelerate it makes a faint sound that sounds just like an electric rc motor. remember this is when accelerated.

Helps to know what kind of car it is... I'm assuming something Traxxas?

may be a diff. set on a car stand, curb or etc... with a screw driver place on a non moving part and see if you feel a vibration. i may be a little off here but might be a good place to start.

My guess is either the bearings that support the diff or the clutch bearings. I've encountered this sound you speak of but can't remember what the culprit was...

gear mesh maybe?

ya i had the same sound on my electric but nothing ever happened
