www.desotoracing.com is an importer for jp racing engines. They are located in Florida.Their phone# is (305)-439-0078.If for some reason they don't answer email them and they will respond as soon as possible. Sometimes they are out of town racing on road. You will find their email address and contact info on their web site..

I don't think JP is going out of business. I just picked up some parts from Desoto Racing last week.

I only had the JP modded version of a P5. They have good topend, but I just finished building a B3 type Novarossi 3 port. Going to see how well this engine stacks up against the O.S Speed/Ninjas and the Plus 21-4. If it goes well, I might try to build a Novarossi Plus 21 3 port also.

The JP 7 port should scream. I know someone that had the Eagle B-7T Black mod and it ran hard.

blue is sexy!

Have a JP Modded V-Spec: Is a pretty forgiving motor for what it is. If tuned properly, can go 12min on an outdoor, large, loamy, high traction track.

JPMod B5N Mutt: Built mine with a Hot Mod case and head (got new from a buddy), with a Medial Pro carb and backplate, all with a RBMods P5 crank! Man, for WHATEVER reason, it works. Decent mileage (8:30), plenty of bottom (running .9 springs, 17T clutch, Nova 086 pipe [hardcoated..nice], smooth JPMod short header in an 808), and i have chosen to use a 6.5 insert, cutting the EPA to about 75% and tuned this way it is as linear and "supple" as i've used.

long post, short answer: its still a Nova (short of the V-Spec), and "that ain't bad".

down the straights like lightning...impressive

now I did a rebuild with a P5xs body/bearings, R7 rod
and O'donnell head
....still screams...lol
