Default Novarossi N21BF Limited Edition .21 Off Road 3 Port - Glow Plugs

I've just purchased a Novarossi N21BF Limited Edition .21 Off Road 3 Port. It comes with a standard glow plug head. Can anyone recommend any glow plugs that suite this engine.

I've got a few Axe Rossi standard R6 & R7 plugs. Would these be o.k. Also would the OS 8 plug suite this engine

cheers

VeI've been running the odonnell 77 in mine with great success! They are only a few bucks and as good as any plug out there. IMO

Run the od77..I was told by a very respectful novarossi dealer to run the mc8 or the od plugs..

Don`t run the os plugs there a shorter plug and not meant for nr engine

I also have a NR limited engine..Can`t ait to break it in..The guy I got it from gave me mc8 plugs to run in it

os8 are short.Use as rossoh10 said od 77. The os8 will not reach the combustion chamber

Guys is this the plug you are talking about. I note that it says for .12 engines. Got the description from Amain Hobbies.........

This is one O'Donnell #77 standard glow plug for engines that accept long shaft plugs (basically any engine except OS engines). This is a hot glow plug intended for use in .12 race engines with high nitro content fuels. This can sometimes be a good plug for .21 race engines if you need a hot plug (such as when the humidity is very high).

cheers

O'Donnell 77 or 100 (if you can find it) best plugs for any motor (that is not O.S.) made. Ignore what the descriptions say and listen to your fellow racers.

just one other question. am going to run 25% nitro. I take this hot plug will be o.k with 25%. I've always thought the higher the nitro the cooler the plug

cheers

Yes you can run 30% but it would be good idea to add a .10mm shim or take out the .10mm shim thats in it and add .20mm shim.....The shim will help you squeez a little more top end and running 30% also adds a little top end

Yes 30% works great in the 2001bf . Thats all i have been racing with is 30% and have 8 gals though it and the only thing that i have changed is a few glow plug. This motor is great. its not as fast as some of the other motors out there but for the price you cant beat it.
