I agree with that. Three things I have wanted to do with a radio tray are:

1. A snap in battery pack, like an external pack on a video camera. You would have to figure out a electrical contact that wouldn't fail. In addition to that, have a secondary battery strap to make sure the battery doesn't pop out of the tray.

2. A pre-wired battery tray. This way you could put a reciever in and the plugs would already be in the box. Then an external plug by each servo and transponder would be available to plug in each. With this you could actually have servos with 2" leads, or coil up a long lead and leave the cords outside of the box.

3. Would someone please make a switch harness with very short wires!!! Packing 15" of extra wire inside an already cramped radio box is a pain and leaves less room for foam cushioning.

I cant wait for these to hit the US. The D8 is an awesome buggy and I like the radio tray. The extra charge lead is awesome I always added them to my hump packs unless I found 1 that already had it. The D8 battery top screws in and I like that for security but with out the extra charge lead it would suck alittle. The box has thick plastic so that you could dremel alittle out the give the pack some room for foam around it if you wanted. Hey Cobra whats up with some TX packs for the KO radio's you have some of these?

its no more voltage than a GOOD hump pack, my orion matched cells give way over 7v when charged. Ive also ran unregulated lipo with ACE,SANWA,FUTABA and now ALIGN/SAVOX without any issues and lipo is 8.4v fully charged.

Exciting stuff, Angelo! I hope the venture works out for you. LiFe is an exciting battery technology that I really hope will become the new standard.
