I have recently like this past Saturday seen 2 expert pro sponsored team drivers go head to head one Losi/Dyn XP .28 and the other Mugen 6T/Ninja. This was close race the whole 45 min with the gap no more than 3 seconds between the two drivers. Regardless of the how close the race was - that Mugen was pushed to the max of its preformance heights. The driver of the mugen truck had to drive with no mistakes to stay in this race and he was on the throttle the whole race, the only area where the mugen put up a good fight was on the front straight, On the inside of the track, it could not touch the losi performance in turns especally turns right after jumps.

I dont see where Mugen copied Losi - the trucks look nothing the same to me from body to chassis.

Now dont put words in my mouth - I never said the mugen truck sucked or was bad - simply saying after a BIG race with pro guy driving - the Losi simply out preformed the Mugen trun in and turn out

both are great trucks...it just depends on what feels best to you..I have had kyosho, xray, and losi, but not a Mugen. I have wrenched on them and have driven one, but that is it. The new Mugen is rock solid imo and more foregiving the Losi..it may not be able to turn under the Losi, but it does appear to have madd on power steering. The Losi's to me are very setup intensive...if something is off, you know it right away. All the big name trucks are top quality, but there is most certainly a difference in the longevity and fitting of parts between them. I can say with certainty (of the ones I have owned) that xray and kyosho plastics, metals, and parts are of far higher quality then Losi - they do not wear out..my Losi got clapped out very quickly...I have over 10 gallons on my kyosho and it is as tight as the day I bought it....every Mugen I have ever seen has had similar longevity as K and Xray cars...it is not very often that I have seen a Mugen DNF a race either...they are extremely tough trucks. Best thing is to drive both and see what you like..there is no doubt they are both extremely fast trucks

As i've been told , go with what you can afford and what local shops cary the most parts for etc. From watching them in action, both do well. To each his own. Good luck with what ever one you pick.

mugen hands down in every area for ME.and i didnt have to spend two hunderd extra dollars to be as good as the mugen.

You know what - most of us probley order 95% of our parts and supplies offline - so you can find that parts

Well looks like I will order a MBX6-T and try it out. I currently have the RC8T-E, the Losi 8T 2.0 which are both brushless and run the exact same setups. I will add the Mugen with the exact same motor setup and batteries and test them myself on our track here on the clock. Time to see which one really performs the best. Same tires, same day, same motors. I could give two craps which brand I run...I just want to win and be consistent. No biased crap.
