So, I have the Team Losi LST. I watched Squirrel's video on YouTube,

And at 0:43 he talks about a flywheel tool, which goes over the flywheel when no clutch shoes are on the flywheel, which will give you the grip you need when tightening the nut. (See 2:30 in the video)

Now, here's a link to amainhobbies http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...t-Nut-LST-LST2, which is a page which shows the LST's flywheel. (The flywheel in my RC) Can I just use any flywheel tool with my flywheel or do i need a specific one? Which flywheel tool would work?

I just use some big channel locks around the flywheel. If you are worried about messing the flywheel up use some soft jaws or a rag.

They also make 2 kinds of tools to "lock" the crank... 1 that goes in the glow plug hole, and the other one you remove the backplate of the engine.

If you clean the brass collar and the hole in the flywheel, (I use denatured alcohol to degrease it) you really don't need a special tool... I use vicegrips personally. Hold the flywheel firmly "back" (toward the engine) on the crank and it will keep the crank from spinning as you start to tighten the nut. Once it gets a little snug then you don't have to worry about the crank spinning in relation to the flywheel.

The Ofna wrench will work, we carry them specifically for the LST line of trucks, we also have a nice piston locking tools that goes in place of the glow plug, it has a nylon tip on it so it won't scuff up the top of the piston:
