Questions?? idle issue please help!!

im getting some of the tunning down but the idle is too fast! I cant even get it on pavement and it will go a very steady speed without throttleing it. My controller its at 0 on the throttle trim! I turn and turn and turn the idle screw nut i just cant get it! And i dont understand how to set it back to factory. PLEAS HELP!!!!!!!!!

Make sure the carb is closing all the way when you take your finger off the throttle...

Double check your turning the idle screw the correct way...

And make sure you're not running too lean with the low speed needle.

Are you unscrewing the correct screw? In the manual it should show you what each of the needles are. Never set your idle on the controler. If you have your idle set on the controler then your car may stall when you slam on the brakes...

Also it could be too lean on bottom or you could have an airleak...

well ok i was looking around my manual and my the throttle/brake servo has way more throttle than in the picture if you go to traxxas.com and rustler then gallery you can see it but and my throttle trim is at zero on my controller.

Make sure your servo arm is properly centered with the servo at neutral...

Before you ever start your engine you should make sure your throttle and brakes are working correctly by setting up your servo epa correctly. With the battery on work the throttle and brake, see if it does what its supposed to do. No matter how many replies you get you will have to make sure this is done properly first. If it takes going to a local track to find help, do it.
