Default Need a little advice

Hey Folks,

New to this Forum, but not new to Nitro. I just got a Nova N21BF yesterday ..... ran one tank on the starter box through it last night. Man this engine is tight.

Anyway, got a glow plug question: I am running Sidewinder 20% Nitro with a Dynamite 053 pipe. What glow plug do you guys recommend? I happen to like McCoy plugs

TIA

That's up to your personal preference. I like hot or super hot OS plugs. When the weather gets into the 100's I step down to a hot but with that engine med or hot depending on your preference.

personally i like to stick with the same brand as the motor.

all glow plugs are the same though so it probably doesnt matter much

as for the heat, on my 21bf i always ran hot plugs

McCoy MC-8. I run them in every motor I've owned(usually novarossi's). Usually end up replacing them just because they've been ran for too long. I've rarely ever blown them. I run 30% now but used to run 20%. But have always have used the MC-8.

same motor but byrons 25% with outside temps at 95-100 with heat index about 107. Im running odonnel #99 cold with great success. This is what Houston/Monty advised would run good for me. This engine is the bomb for the money. Im running the dynamite 086hs though since the engine already has plenty of bottom end grunt. It hauls a$$ with this pipe.
