I'm running the Reedy 1600mah lipo in my RC8 with no problem. It will depend on the size of you receiver though. I'm running a spektrum mini.

I use this one.

It does fit with a full size Spectrum RX in the RC8.

I also use a CS battery in my TX.

I have used many of their products and have always been happy.

I have a Reedy 2100mah lipo pack in the original battery/receiver box with a regular size Spektrum receiver. Its about the size of a nimh hump pack just square.

Picture in your mind. The servo wires and such are coiled on the right. The receiver is stood up just behind them. The lipo pack fills the rest of the room behind the receiver and the pack wiring and switch wiring is coiled up between the pack and the switch area.

I had the teeny tiny KO 2.4ghz receiver in there before but it actually took more room because of its shape and design.
