And such is the case with most brands.

Not really. There are no problems with Spektrum gear. Wether it be a spektrum radio or just a spektrum module system. Plain and simple. They were the first... they are the best!

They don't make an FM radio. That's the point. They don't need an FM radio because thier 2.4 gig systems actually work without problems, unlike most of the other brands.

exactly the option doesn't exist therefore not comparable as far as "what the pros use".The lack of support is not a testimate to what is supported
With that said all my 2.4s I own/ed including my dx3s have worked flawless for me with the exception to the dx2.Which is understandable since it was spektrums first spread radioIt comes down to build quality, features, ease of use and comfort.Which is why I concluded that my 4pk is superior to the others i own.
PS loved my helios allso just wasn't as easy to use its features(small screen)

My buddy found the hard way there is no programable channel mixing for the new KO.He got a 4pk & so far no problems,we'll see how that goes it feels realy good, better than my 3pk.Ko was nice but seems to me mixxing is a pretty basic option these days.

I run a Futaba 3PM, and at my track everyone looks at my radio and are like huh? lol, what the hell is that. They all run either the M11 or 4PK, Its an indoor track so not sure about any overheating problems with Futaba receivers. If your on a budget, the 3PM is an ok radio, if money is no object then the 4PK is for you. Compare pricing on the receivers, sometimes you can find a good deal on ebay.

KO Propo 2.4Ghz is the same speed or a little faster than normal crystal stuff. It has a tiny receiver, doesn't overheat, doesn't glitch, can run on 7.4V unregulated no problem and KO servos & receivers have been for a few years now with no problems. All or most of the other 2.4Ghz systems out there come with one of the above problems as a standard feature.

+100 KOPROPO 2.4G is awesome. I have had Futaba Fasst didnt have any issues, had Airtronics straight out of the box with issues. My EX1-UR with the KO 2.4 system is by far the best quality I have ever seen. I love the super tiny recievers and the binding of the module and reciever is super easy. I will never buy another radio ever. The fact that you can go unregulated is just another plus. Their servos are awesome too just wish they were alittle cheaper.

+101 for the KO system. I can't add much to what's already been said here about the KO 2.4 system - it's fast and flawless and the receiver is tiny. An amazing system.
The Helios with the drop down wheel and lipo must also be the most comfortable, best balanced radio out there. And once you learn the programming and how to customize the menus it's also extremely easy to navigate.
