It gets hot in central Florida.I have seen several Futaba systems fail resulting in runaways. The F.A.A.S.T reciever overheats.Theres a reason most pros use the M11.tHATS WHAT i use and haven't had a single problem.Rumor is that HITEC is coming out with a pro competition radio. If the quality of their servos is any indication it should be good.

+1 for KO, about 9months with no problemas at all, the only thing you should care is about batteries. But like all the 2,4 systems.

I used to run the Nomadio... Great system, support is lacking.

Switched to the DX3r and have not looked back. The radio is awesome, its light, has alot of GREAT features and the response time with digital servos it fast as hell. it does feel a little flimsy but I've never worried about it falling apart. Bind and go.... Never any interference, glitching or run aways... The support from Horizon is there if you need it.

I also see the pros using the M11 alot... But with FM crystals and long antennas....

Makes me believe there 2.4ghz system is not completely figured out... Same with Futaba....

Hitec had a racer radio way back in the day called the lynxs 3D & it blew away every radio feature wise & was the first computer type with that big screen & spektrum module for futaba fits right in.Before spektrum was around Hitec had a dual conversion reciever that never glitched. I dont understand what happend when they upgraded to that newer turd radio but,if they set their mind to it they can make a killer radio.

as far as the 4pk over heating goes i have not had a problem
and it is not like it's not hot in n. ca. one race it was 101 in the
shade and dam hot on the track 3 qualifiers 30min main no problems
for me that puts the over heating thing to rest now we will see
how unregulated lipo goes

Not if the quality sucks..I have seen many pros and other sponsored drivers leave a company because they couldn't win with it. (GRP comes to mind)

If it interfears with them winning races they give it up quick
