I ran GRP's all last season and at the beginning of this year some stock-tuned and some modded. I just recently started trying out different engines. I bought an OS speed and took some advice on here and put a Mugen 2042 pipe (this is an OS 2060 copy) a Mugen L shaped header and installed an EB mods head button and all I can say is wow this engine puts all engines I have seen to shame. It has tons or torque, smooth controllable power and gobs of horsepower. I recently tried out a modded GRP .28 and that engine was insane but really ate through the gas. I think my search for the magic combo in my 8T 2.0 is over the OS as described above is perfect. I dont need or want any more engine. Ohh yea I'm using a 6.5 restrictor and getting an easy 10 mins.

Contact Monty Houston on these threads. He will get you setup with a great engine. Customer service is his middle name. Novarossi engines are one of the finest available.

my favorite of all time for truggy still has to be the c6bb......just takes a gallon or two to stop locking tdc.....but then watch out. i have had almost all of them and none can touch its torque and power its almost .28ish.

Monty Houston set my kid up with a Novarossi .21 and it is a screamer! I am probably gonna get one too. He has unsurpassed service

For truggy a modified Picco/Jammin .21 is my favorite....They have amazing power and speed and as good as mileage as a V-Spec.... I kid you not these engines make the power of a C6 look like a RTR level engine, these engines are truly smoking fast... I personally find the C6,GRP and V-Specs to be too mild for truggy applications and much prefer them in Buggy.......Without question the modified Picco/jammin's will be by far the most powerful .21's your going to see run anywhere short of a onroad track....

Before spending hundreds on a motor, practice/learn how to handle an offroad vehicle. Go get yourself a Dynamite, Go Tech or Out of the box Picco for less than $200 and play. Speed comes after consistency!
