you can, but it wil not be as consistent as a venturi. i had my jammin set at about 60% open for the first 1/2 gallon on accident and i could only tell the top end was lacking a bit, i thought it just needed to break in to rev good. i set the epa and now i'm looking for venturis, lots of power all around now.

Do you set the carb to open all the way with no venturi and then just add one and be done? Or are you supposed to look down the venturi and have the carb open just enough for that?

Set your EPA's with no Venturi, then drop in the one you want

i got lucky like you, i bought mine at 299-25 and i had 15 in credits so 259 shipped. mines still sitting in the box, sealed it up, now waiting for the buggy to get rebuilt
