Default PICCO G1 XP Pro .21 Needle Settings

Cannot Find Any Info Anywhere.

Does anyone know what the factory settings are for the High And Low Speed Needles on this particular engine. It's the offroad version.

I have tried to tune it every which wasy till sunday and still have a slight tickle at the end of a long run (70 yards or more) and then returns to idle nicely. It was modded by eduardo picco right out of the box.

I found a slight tear in one of the low speed o-rings and replaced it, but did not get a chance to run it as it was too late last night.

I was just wondering if anyone new what the fact. settings are on the needles. It runs terrific and steady at 230 degrees. Screaming fast too, I am just baffled with the tickle at the end of a run. It is currently in a Revo with a 2 speed tranny.

It almost sounds like it is tickling in the downshift, but I am just not sure and do not want to ruin the motor.

Any help would be appreciated. Hard to find any info on this engine, I love it though it's a screamer!

most stock needle setting's on picco's are flush all around.....so back them out a bit and try retuning it...i think you are a little lean on the bottom and after a high speed run you need a little more fuel to compensate for the block being empty after the run....you might be lean on both needles for all i know....unless i can see and hear the motor there's no fool proof way to tell you what's up with out seeing it in person.

I tried the flush settings a couple weeks back but it would just load up and stall out. It would be nice to get the factory settings.

Thanks Again for any and all info I do appreciate it...

One more thing, I forgot to mention that it is a turbo motor too. Hope that helps....

Factory setting's will ALWAYS be rich....are they going to send out a motor with a race tune on it so the user starves it of fuel and burn's the motor down.....I don't think so.

Factory is Flush.

Got it I understand That. I guess what I am saying is I have tried everything in the book that I know of, and if I fatten it up just a little it will sit, and within 10 seconds of sitting I take off and it stalls right out. It's driving me crazy...

I am not a veteran, racer, or a nitro genius by any means, but have been running nitros for 4 years now, and I am just baffled with this one.

Again thanks for all the help. I appreciate it.

I guess I will keep trying, Maybe that O-Ring will be a blessing in disguise.

Your idle seems a little high...check your idle gap it will throw everything off if it is too wide.

Dude you are the man! I went and turned it down a great deal (half a turn)and the idle finally fell down to a nice low tone. Started ripping up and down the yard and now that tickle is history. I had turned it down once before but evidently it was not enough. Thanks Guys I am psyched!

Bye far the best forum out there, very helpful and knowledgeable people here.
