i would think you could easily get away with a race .21....why .28's and .30's ? 5-7 min run time's suck.

What ever you do stay away from Axial. For truggy get the GO TECH .25 6 port race. Its faster than all them .28's 30's and .32's. And for buggy a nice .21 i agree with Integra. You could also go with .21 for truggy too I ran a GO TECH .21 5 port and was just as fast as everyone else. the .25 I suggested is just if your low end grunt happy and it gets good runtimes too.

I also have a SC8 - I would strongly suggest that you use a .21 engine in it. I put a .28 OS and it was uncontrollable, all wheel spin . You got to remember that the tires are smaller so spin quicker and the tires have treads not pins so slip.
That is my opinion. .21

My buddy is using buggy treads with his LRP .28 and it hooks!! that thing moves! no drifting just pure speed. I think Iam gonna just send my new piston, rod, and sleeve out to get some work done, and rebuild my stock .28. I put a JP3 pipe and MY GOD that thing woke up big time!!

NOT to say ALL .28-.30's are junk....but the axial and LRP sure are....which is directly reflected by the price.
Hahahahaha, with that reasoning, Integra admits .21 STS engines are race motors!!!! finally!!! I can drop the subject now!!!

have you made up your mind ???? i will say this lrp is a picco based engine thats why it runs so hard......i dont know much about the axial 32 but i had and axial 28 it did remind me of the newer hpi motors axial motor were brought upon us for monster truck because of there low end power..personally if i were in your shoes i would go lrp cause its rightful home is in a truggy....axial is a monster truck so what does that tell you.....me personally i am running a picco 21 in my sc8 and you my see how it runs tomorrow or sunday backyardbasher
