Im not a huge losi fan. But the car is fast. But one of the biggest things I like about the car is the stock clutch. Has alot of punch and very easy to service. As for bearing, get some ready rollers. Awesome bearings and great prices. Check them out at readyrollers.com

stock losi set-up would get significantly longer life then 1/2-3/4 of a gallon.....you can measure the shoe's to ensure you dont wear them too far....but ive been getting alot longer life then what you are......what motor are you running ?

I've been running a GRP but I only said 1/2-3/4 gallon because I like to change it after that long because if I don't I'll wait until it begins to stall and then go crazy at what is exactly wrong so I check and change then every so often
