for RC purpose you need: adjustable clutch and it does not look like those two makita drivers have it and better than just magnetic bit holder

solution: Hitachi DB3DL or anything with those features

actully, it don't. Makita does have a 44 oz/in torque with an adjustable clutch. but it's $169. too costly.

looking more into it, one of the drills that's included in the combo does have a clutch that can be adjusted from 1 to 18.

I have the first set you posted up and love them .. i use the clutched drill for r/c and the impact for home/work..
three four weeks before you have to charge the batt .. now thats one batt per driver...so i only use the one for the track and wrenching on my cars at home.. and yes it has a adjustable clutch and 160 is cheaper then i paid

I bought the bosch from Lowes. I LOVE it.

It has a really good light on it too =). Charges (a123) battery in 15 mins. Pretty slick.

Imo my Makita is Way to big for 99% of the jobs i use it for....buddy has a Hitachi that makes my makita look and feel like a TANK....it does all the jobs mine does has the light and all...but is 1/5 the weight..comes with 2 batteries and a charger......if your buying a 100% RC specific driver this is what i would go with.
