pyromania 05-27-2009 11:36 AM

It depends. What car are you referring to?

Losi 2.0 buggy

I have a 45t spur gear and 13t clutch in my buggy. I havent ran it on the track yet but when I started it up at home it seemed fine. Still had alot of low end with the tuned grp in there.

You probably have alot of bottom try a 48t

I usually run the stock 13/48 but I really liked the 14/48 that I tried a week ago. I lost a little bottom end, but that's not a problem with the V-Spec-JP-3 combo I had.

A 13/48 would give him more bottom and less top than the 13/45.

i agree with you, i ran 14/48 in my 1.0 the whole time i had it. it mellowed the vspec down a little. im thinkin about going back to that combo with the 2.0

I'm going to go pick one up for my 2.0 also since I'm going to be racing on a bigger track this weekend. I've run the 12t but I feel like it over-revs the engine a bit.

I would go back to the 48t spur unless your track is more suited for top end.

mikesd1980 05-28-2009 06:00 AM

The track I race at is suited more for low end. I will try it this weekend to see if I like it on the track. If not than I will put the 48t in there.

I run a 13/50 on smaller tighter tracks and 14/50 on larger tracks where I need a little more speed. Ohh yea it's in a 8t 2.0
