oh! shit now im confused as i hunted on the ebay and they state that the p4 super hot
and p3 hot have they missed printed or have missed something and does it really matter for us in the au to use the p4 over the p3 as we tend to get a tad hot over hear
at the moment we are cold i mean im truly happy with the way it runs now and i did check the head button after use with the p3 and no signs of pitting so id assume that's ok oh and thanks for the inputs guys

The p3 plug is the hottest plug I know of. It is hotter than the p4 and it was specifically designed for the vspec engines. I personally haven't had any problems running p3 plugs with the eb mods button. There are no signs of detonation and the engine has pleanty of power. I live in central ca so in the summer time it's usually 90+ and it can get to over 100. Still my engines run better with the p3 plug. I have tried the p4 and I went back to the p3.

You spent the cash on the speed don't go cheap on the plug.

Yes the O'donnell plugs are cheaper but I don't think they are any less quality. I change them every other race weekend like I did with my OS plugs. I think my v-spec runs better and the speed runs about the same after the switch. The speed always idled nice to the point where it could hold it for where it seemed like it could idle all day. When I switched to the O'donnell plug the v-spec could then do the same.

I love the extra power and runtime I get with this head button on my ninja. I have had a problem with it trying to run 30% and a p4 plug. It ran well but still a bit touchy with the p3. I switched to 20% and the motor ran better on the p3 and p4 plug. I live in Utah at 4500 elevation so I have the head shimmed for high altitude.

NICE! but you should get better performance with the 30% and a p4... that high up you should try some 40%

Ok can someone clear up whats going on with the new V2 EB mods head button. My V2 head button came with 2 shims and the instructions state that under 3500 feet to sea level using 30% to use both the copper and alum shims that come with the V2 button. Another fellow racer told me that Tony from Tonys screws told him to only use the alum one. Someone is confused. Can anyone clarify it for me. My engines run well but I want the EB Mods head button to be installed correctly. Thanks.
