Rear diff.
I just got a second hand Tamiya nitrage truggy the other day. I took it out for a run. It went fine for two tanks then it developed a clicking sound in the rear diff. I pulled the diff apart and found that the small gear that drives the big gear was rounded and almost stripped. Im not sure how that could happen cause they are both steel gears Why would it do this, is it because of ware or because they weren't meshed properly? Also isnt the diff meant to be full of oil? I have never taken one apart before so I dont know but I see diff oils advertised in model shops. The diff I pulled apart barely had any oil at all. Could this be the problem.
