In Need Of help ASAP!

1. When i plug in my hump pack, i turn on the on/off switch on it works but i turn the switch off it still works. I dont know why. If you need anything to help me let me know.
2. The Hitec steering servo will not turn but the screw that attaches the servo arm to the servo will turn. But the wheels wont.
3. Receiver Pack. Does anyones get hot when it charges? Because mine does not change temp. It almost feels as if it doesnt even charge. Maybe its broke.

Any help would be nice. Thanks

1) Get rid of the switch, use a direct connector and just unplug it when you are done.
2) Is the servo not moving at all? Or is someting not tight enough?
3) How many mah is the pack and what do you charge at? And is it LiPo/NiMh/NiCad?

1. sounds like a short in the switch......check it for skinned or torn wire...
2. if the screw is turning and not the wheels then more than likly the servo horn is stripped out

3. reciever pack should get slightly warm as it reaches a full charge

1. check your wires. its easy to mix up the plugs on the switch

2. sounds like your servo arm is stripped. pull the screw out and pull the arm off. check to see if the little ribs on the arm and the servo are still intact

3. they should never get really hot. it should just be warm. depends on what amp rate you charge your pack at.

just to add that corrosion on the swith connector's can cause issues as well ;)

just get a new switch - ALWAYS use a switch - new servo horn -

check where you plugged the switch in first....

servo extentions in an easy to grab spot is a much better option than a switch, you should be unplugging your rx pack when your done running anyways

Switches are for spankings. Actually switches are heraldic.
