Default Starter Box Mod

I tried this setup but found it unreliable for my box/chassis choice:

So I came up with this instead and it works like a charm. I did it to my RC8T and RC8, but can be applied to almost any chassis:

This is foolproof and I can key either chassis on with my eyes closed. It's quite an easy mod, and it will save headaches and $$$. Hope some of you find it useful.

I like that idea. You can set up any chassis to work on the box. Very nice.

Thanks guys. This is my most reliable setup to date, it's hard to wreck it, and there's no pegs to slide or break.

How much do the nuts hold the chassis off of the starter box lid?

They lift it off just enough so that the SB wheel doesn't rub on the flywheel...I didn't plan for that part, it just worked out right.
