JX will outperform and outlast (has a DLC coated crank) the Orion...

I have ran the list of engines from top to bottom im what you call an engine slut (ive tried them all) i run the ninja. I can say its a great engine. its always a hit or miss with any engine. i want another one but they are on back order may be months until the orders are filled. my friends tuned orion had weak fuel milage today. and another big name driver had the same problem at Revs today. and he didnt have a hole in his tank..

i had a Nova +4 but now is dead after 1gallon...

Yesterday i buy an OS VSpec B VZ21.

I tryed this engine i the feeling is little bit better than the Nova.

Little bit more high rpm power but little bit more torque with the nova in low rpm

Unhappy

THE ORION IS A GREAT MOTOR BUT IT COMES WITH A CRAPY CARB. YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE CARB ON THE ABI MOTORS.
I JUST GOT THE ORION MOTOR AND HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS.
I TIRED TIME AFTER TIME TO GET AHOLD OF JOE PILERS FROM KYOSHO BUT STILL HE WONT ANSWER MY PHONE CALLS.

I JUST THINK ITS A BUNCH OF CRAP.

OH WELL I THINK I'LL JUST GO BACK TO THE JAMMIN MOTORS.

Pillars has a significant amount of work to do at Kyosho/Orion, but I know there are other customer service reps that can handle your issue.

Ive not heard of this happening and have seen the guys with Orion power around here do well. Id reccomend trying the ABI, the SGrid is a great place for information by the way.

I run the Ninja in my D8 with a OS 2060 pipe & a 7mm restrictor on byrons 20% which gets me more power than I can handle and first pit is at 10min. I am very happy and thinking of dropping to a 6.5mm restrictor.

i would say the best would be a os speed for power and mileage. I currently have the orion alpha motor I couldn't even get 6min out of it at rev this weekend. my buddy has a ninja b01a and he was getting about 7mins maybe.

if those are your only two choices i would say go with ninja!
