i have been running an airtronics 94358 for steering in my buggies for at least 4 race seasons now and have never had a problem. there is some slop but whatever. im thinking about a maybe getting a hitec next...

on a side note...most of the people i have seen fry servos are people who dont bother to set their endpoints properly or have their servo saver spring way too tight.

AE 1015's for me.

Futaba isn't bad too, mine start twitching after 6 months or so. Even after I sent them in.

Hitec over here.....I could care less to waste my time with inferior lesser quality servo's that fail in the end.

The Ace AE servos have also been quite good for me. I carry a 1313 as a back-up.

HiTec All the way!! I was just at The JBRL race number 2. Hitec had thier both there for support, i ask them if they had any top caps for my 7955(had one tang brake off) they were out but they gave me a brand new servo, I asked if they wanted to have the broken one back and he said no. He then took my info and shipped my the top cap also, NOW THATS SERVICE!! Hitec is a step no Three steps above everybody else!!!!!

That right there is the best marketing any company can do..they now have you as a customer for Life! Cost them a $20 servo (there cost to make) and you will spend thousands on there servo's over your racing career. If only all the other companies worked like Hitech

screw that piss porr company
what happened to the servo(did you hook lipo, non regulated)? within the past year i know of 5(not 4, not 6, "5") jr9100s's that were used for steering (rated 180 oz at 6v) burned and replaced with no questions asked. myself i have 4 9100t's and never had 1 problem. iv had 2 z9000s's burn and shipped to jr and i got 9100s's in about 2 weeks.

to correct problem ship back to jr with a note saying "does not work" as does anybody that have jr issues and they will ship you a new servo

Im sorry about your service from horizon - I have been using JR servos for a LOOOOOOONG time and when ever I had a problem with it - they always sent me a new one. I used two 8411 400oz servos - some would say thats to much - but they dont get hot and last..........

this year I brought 4 Ace servos for the price of 2 JRs and so far they have been decent -------

9100t yes you are right, dude its just funny when the lightest truggy in the market is using one of the strongest servos in it and they say its over loaded. on blue groove dry ass track. no water no moisture just ideal conditions. if any one has any ammo for me to throw there way id appreciate it. 130 dollar servo used as paper weight.

ill i ever run is hitec, i just bought into that gimmick of super strong servo. my bad

I don't agree it;s the losi burning up anything. I have yet to race but I have attended several of the races(to watch) at the Pit raceway in maflesville(sp), and Nitrofever in Chelsea. It seems the losi's are very popular and are the cars to beat across the boards, even in the beginner classes. I spoke for sometime to the guys who pit to the left of the track at the chelsea track and I can not remember the names but they seemed to be pretty new guys and said they loved the losi. This post just stuck out because one of those guys said he has had the same servos in for 2 years now, since he started racing.

at the same time I read you burnt one up in your jammin truck. I'm sure that don't mean the jammin burns up servo's.

At any rate...I may be at the Nitro fever pro series race Zixxer. I'll come over to chat with ya. I got to watch you run some and was gonna come over but you seemed to be having a bad day. I didnt want to bother you.

Talk to you soon!
