Default Go .25 engine factory needle settings

Hey all,

My mate just bought this car, http://www.rchobbies.com.au/store/pr...ducts_id=38718

H8 Matador with a go .25 engine. Pic below

Does anyone know the fatory needle settings ??

I read somewhere the high & low should be flush, but on his they are wond down a fair bit under flush.

Im not sure if he adjusted them or not, he said he didnt but im not so sure.

Anyway we cant get the engine to start. Im not a total noob, ive had 2 savages and a nitro heli that ive never had any issues with.

So if anyone knows the stock settings or has a manual for the engine please let me know!

Thansk!!

Flush on the high speed and around 1-1.5 turns in on the lsn. Make sure you blow in the pressure tube to get fuel up to the motor. Also use a med. to hot plug.

I got it started last night, found some settings but not sure if they were the correct ones.

I did

2.75 on the HSN - this is about 2mm under flush
and
4.75 on the LSN

Should i change to your settings ?

As long as its rich and you get the temps to around 180-200. It sounds like your a bit leaner than the previous poster said. Set the HSN to flush, and LSN 1-1.5 turns in, you want it really rich, spitting fuel rich.

I guess if it runs there try it but watch the temps. and make sure it sounds rich.
