Default keep the "pinch"

GREAT! YOU figured out what was wrong with it! Be patient, Sometimes NITRO can be VERY frustrating, particularly to a newcomer, whos local hobby shop has NO help for.

Now to keep that engine in good shape, make certain you set the piston at BDC (bottom dead center) after each run. Get a inline fuel filter ( if you don't already have one) Keep the air filter clean and oiled. Until you get thru breakin procedure, keep it to 1/2 throttle or less. See this guide for break in : http://www.rctech.net/forum/nitro-of...eak-bible.html

Glad you got it running. I know when you cannot get it running how frustrating it is. Now that it is running and you have the proper equipment have fun but make sure to break in the engine properly in order to have the most fun out of it

And dont go back to that shop - I had the same problem with a rc of mine at a local hobby shop - I was telling me my motor was bad and to get this special modded motor he had for just 400 bucks.

Turns out one of the local pros grabbed my truck went about an hour or so on the MSN and it was better that I ever had it.

Some (not all) of these LHS look only at the business side of things on making money now- they dont see the advantage of having long term customers

to all the LHS - remember that you dont get new customers everyday. The ones you do have will come back often if they are treated right!

My 2 cents
