OS Speed V-Spec II question
I am very interested in this engine. I have an 8t 2.0. Anyone using this engine in a truggy, gearing? Or any pointers on tuning or pipe selection? When dies this engine come alive after tuning do I need to wait till a gallon to really open it up? Any help would be appreciated.

i ran a speed in my truggy it has pretty good power but i had to run it a little hotter then i like to make the power strong enough for the truggy, i found the jp3 to be the most powerful on the bottom with that engine, but a little weak on the top, you would be better off with the ninja jx in the truggy it has more grunt, i run it with a 2060 and the ebmod head button and it can easily go 10 mins when i want to and makes a ton of power

Speed's are very fast engines. IMO it is plenty for a truggy, just the ninja is a LOT cheaper and IMO just as good for a truggy. If you already have the speed, run it. it will treat you well and be plenty powerful. 240 is fine, I usually run around 230 getting awesome power and over 10 minutes of runtime. Speed's are awesome engines!
