i tend to go 9-11 min in my o.s speed. i run 30% TQ fuel, 7mm carb restricter, and stock carbon clutch on the d8.

ive 2 stoped a 30 min main once,,, the other time i tried it i flamed out because i came in a lap early.

dont run too lean or rich and be smooth on the trigger and you can go 10

Im not a PRO but I pay very close attention to them at the tracks here- on the the main things they say here is what is the attitude, what is the weather and talking to some PROS 10 is very hard to get out of a motor - but they have the fuel coolers coming out soon and this is suppoes to give you a few more mins of run time. Nova makes one and Forini

I get 20+ minutes on the starter box with any engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Runtimes are not standard...it varies by track size, track design, car, clutch setup, driving style.

Yes there are engines that can give you better runtimes than others. But the differences can be very small when you start to play with venturies, headers, and pipes.
I have a Sirio Kanai STi and got 7min on a medium track with 8mm venturi. Changed to 7mm and got 10:30. My brother did the same on his Sirio but with a different exhaust than i was using and didn't get anything...runtimes were the same.
You just have to find the right combination of venturi and pipe on the specific engine.
Try borrowing some pipes from friends and try them out.

Any of the OS motors will. V-spec, speed, ninja JX. There are lots of factors, but those all will do 10+ minutes easily with the right pipe, tune and driver.

+1..too many variables..I race at three different tracks here in AZ and I get 3 drastically different run times, with same engine, same pipe, and close to the same tune...The smaller the track the better the runtimes..I am in the process of finding my next engine and that has to get 10+ at The Nitro Pit...that's a short list of mills..PS engine mods will greatly increase runtimes..so if thats the main concern look into something from Pro Twister, Clockwork, or EB..

I got a Go 3port with a jp-3 thats pushing around 10 minutes now. And I'm sure it can be tuned by someone that knows tuning a little better than me, to push it past 10 minutes. And the motor sure doesn't lack power.

My X-Tech will go over 10 easy outdoor and I can easily go over 12 minutes indoor.(Big Boy pipe and X-Tech #5 plug) If you have a problem with the pipes send them back to Chad at Trinity. They should be in good shape next week.

I know atleast 10 people with the original "big boy" pipe and not one problem. Not one. I'm assuming they had a bad run in later production but they will replace the pipes and fix the problem.....no questions asked.

plus 4

odo77t , 8mm restrictor , jp 2032 jammin polished (medium round)header . 123cc buggy tank in mp9 at 235-245 , byrons gen2 prorace 30/9 was 10min + runtimes and i am not nice to the throttle but i do know how to tune

no matter how you run the engine (if you have it run in and tuned properly) you will get at the very least 9 1/2 min.

the toro nero also gets retarded runtimes for such a beast of an engine
