Default What is a good Lipo RX Setup..

Hey all, Im currently running Hump packs. And looking at the Idea of going Lipo... Im not sure what seiz packs ect.. It will be in my Hyper 9.. and running Savox servo's. So if anyone has some things to look for what size will fit.. I know some servo's dont need a reg.. do the Savox servo's im guessing so.. but asking for some advice, on what size packs ect.. on how long you can get out of a pack compared to Nihm. Had Lipo's for planes.. so Know about them ect.. cheers

they work much better ..you can run practice and 3 heats without even charging .....if taken care of they will last that way for a long time ...unlike nimh ....

How long would a 2300 lipo last.. So I can work out.. if I go Lipo how long I would comfortably get from a charge.

hard to put an actual time on it ...long enough for you to let the battery die practice all day at track 3 heats and then charge before mains

ok kl, yea Im defo tempted.. dont think there is any downside to moving to Lipo.. As I have a charger ect, so its just getting a pack or 2.. and regulator.. is one reg better than the other ect..?? or all similar

I'm running the packs attached unregulated with ACE servos, Awesome performance and awesome runtime, I just top them off before each raceday

Cant go wrong 2300mah due to 2s2p, basically a hump pack lipo

lipos can comfortably run all day. thats practice. 2-3 heats and 20 min main. my dads 2000 mah lipo can do that and its barley discharged at all. he prob could do 2 weekends EASY

Ok, kl.. thats great news.. Im thinking to go for Stick packs.. for the lower COG.. as I just got my Hyper 9.. and really want to get it a light as possible ect,
Do, you think I should stay with Hump style or Stick, I have the 9 so Have the option of either.. the stick is lower ect.. and can be put nearer the centre of the chassis.. which will help.. any thoughts??
