Default help with charging a lipo

i have a question about charging a lipo pack. i have a protek 4cell 14.8v 2200 battery for my starter box. i am currently charging at 14.8 v and 2.2 amps. i want to know if i'm charging it correctly. it seems to dye out faster than it should. i don't even get a full day of racing with it.

You are charging it correctly. But it is "only" 2200 mah, if you can, borrow a larger capacity one, and see how long that lasts.

no need to discharge. make sure you are using a lipo charger, set on 4s lipo, charge at 2.2 amps and it should peak to 16.8 and shut off.

my 4400 lipo last for weeks. after like a month of racing im still at 4 volts per cell(3 is cut off 4.20 is max)

so yours should last more then 1 day. something up with the charger or setting

Aye, either it's not charging completely (you are balancing your battery, right?) or you've got a lot of drag in your starter box.

You should probably pick up a balancer, in that case...
