Default Loose High Speed Needle/Screw

Howdy there, my high speed screw used to have a bit of resistance when I adjusted it, I haven't had the buggy fired up for around a month, I started it up today and had a bit of a run and then it started boggin down at full throttle. Had a look and noticed that the screw was wound in nearly all the way. Adjusted it back out and when I was doing that noticed it was very loose and easy to turn. Went for another run and it did the same thing so I bring it in and notice that the screw had wound in again. Anyone know what has caused this and how to stop it winding itself in?
