AVID bearings
has anyone tried these bearings? i have been looking into replacing my stock bearings in my losi as they are starting to go out, and ACER has a bearing kit but it is like $125 and the AVID bearings are only like $1 each. i am wondering if they are worth trying or if they are garbage since they are so cheap

i have read alot of reviews on them but i just wanted some personal input as well. the revolutions look like they would be great, but i just thought there might be something wrong with them since a pack of 4 losi bearings cost almost $20 but these would only cost me $5 for the same 4 bearings

I think they are better than the stock losi bearings. They are cheaper and last longer.

The Avid bearings are good to go.They seem to last as long as all the other bearings(no more no less) I have used & at $1 you can afford to replace them more often than needed.I sued to clean & lube bearings & use them for a very long time but theres always that 1 time when your car starts acting wierd & you cant figure it out ruining a race day,,until you get home & find a wheel or diff bearing is trashed. Run the Avids & when all the lube has gone out & the wheels spin forever on the box after a good rev then replace them(4-5 gal usually with the Avids) & your car will feel a lot closer to new & you get less stress from worrying about bearings, all for $20.

The AVID bearings are great! I have been using them in my Mugen cars for 5 years now. I use the revolutions throughout the car and I use metal shield 5x10mm clutch bell bearings. I jsut blow out the grease for a few seconds in each clutch bell bearing with my air compressor and then slap them in.
