Default JP Racing Eagle engine

What's the word on these engines. They look like they are Novarossi base? Who likes them? Who loves them? Who hates Them?

yes Nova based
yes a monster power-wise

I own an eagle and a nova 12-3sct

the eagle destroys the stock at every rpm.

Nobody talks about them because they are tough to find in the US for one. I have a JP Mod Black Novarossi Plus 2 "367" but it was an act of god to get to do it and then it took a couple of months to get it completed but I have to say it was worth it because it is one of a kind and it rips. The crankshaft is a work of art. Jean Paul sent my crank and crankcase out to get the Hard Black treatment, lightened and modded the crank timing and massaged the sleeve and case. This thing is a MONSTER and so smooth.. I run a 6.5 restrictor, get 11+ minutes running hard, Drop in the 8mm and the thing is ballistic and perfect for a larger high bite track.

Its funny to read how people say that the JP's are expensive.. I look at a $500 OS Speed that has cracked case issues and are toast after 3 gallons..

I'll take a Novarossi that eats a Speed, holds a tune, lasts gallons longer, has comparable run times and still cost less than the OS any day...

The O.S.SPEED, The RB c6, and the JP eagle are expensive to a lot of people. The O.S. is an engine I wouldn't buy because of the problems it has. The C6 I like alot!! and the JP Eagle is the engine I haven't seen. But since I like Novas, I would consider one. I see them on EBAY all the time.

Talking

I have a stock jp b5 STD plug engine and this engine is great. I have a friend that has one also and the abuse night in night out this thing takes is amazing.it just doesn't want to stop.he runs his without a restrictor and has gotten as much as 9min runtimes out of it.I know this sounds to good to be true but believe me when I tell u these engines are for real and worth every penny.!!!

THANKS..i have a stock fxb5n but looking at the eagle line of engines.Would a 5-port or 7-port be better for buggy.i've run a nova 7-port in a truggy and it had plenty of ball$ to clear pretty much anything. I understand 5-ports have more low end grunt than a 7-port.

I run the Eagle B7T in my STRR and it has to be one of the quickest engines at our local track, impressive snap and absolutely wicked top end, I have run it in a 777 as well and it was to dangerous for me as i'm relatively new to the sport, the only thing I would recommend would be to get a spare front bearing when you purchase the engine and replace this bearing after break in, at our local we ordered 2 B7T's as well as 2 onroad 12's and all spat their front bearings prematurely, but after that no problems what so ever JP Eagle no questions just buy one.
