id agree with the mbx6t being a possibilty..
losi 8t 2.0 has been proven..
read other threads discussing truggys and decide for yourself...

8ight t 2.0 is the best by far
a guy i race with "had" the RC8T and got his a$$ handed to him, and went out the next day and bought the 2.0 truggy to keep up.
2.0 is an awsome truggy, i ran 11 secs faster then the TQ holder that had the RC8T
so dont waste your money on the RC8T
just my 2 cents

I owned and raced both.
Really nothing to choose between the two when it comes to performance. I found both, turned in nicely, flew well, and in general were very similar.
The only difference I found was that the Losi was a bit more forgiving. The AE was more neutral when it came to initial turn-in either on or off throttle....
As far as durability, both held up well for the time I had both....
With that said, I sold the RC8T and kept the Losi....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA i love these topics - Losi or AE - the classic American RC Battle.
I personally owns both and I have raced both. and IMO they are bot as different as can be, they dont respond the same, turn the same or handle the same.
Losi guys don't HATE AE but again is that classic battle. Both trucks are excellent in their own way. And they both have they down sides.
What it comes down to is what you like and YOUR driving style.
I keep reading all this about this sucks and that sucks.
But that is an opinion stated by in most cases, stated as a second hand observation, (my friends this or a fellow racer that) Most people can afford one set up and make that work for them.
Again it all comes down to drive style and likes.
I am no sloutch in driving and can hang with most, I run Pro/Expert in most races, except for invite/sponsored events, and run Losi 8T 2.0 and I have been beatin by Jammin, AE, Mugen, Kyosho, Xray - and if most of the guys on this forum concur and man up - they have to.
So all in all get what you like - if you buy in LHS you might want to take into consideration parts.

LOSI ALL THE WAY!!!
It's simple look at how many people dropped what they had for a losi 2.0 when it first came out, and still are doing so. If you look at any major event for normal racers, not sponosred guys, the field will most likely be dominated by losi 2.0's. There is a reason for that. The losi 2.0 is a completely awesome machine. A new design that has everyone running to catch up. I have seen soo many anti-losi guys drop what they were running for a 2.0. It just plain works. And there is noone, noone that can touch losi as far as parts support goes. GO WITH LOSI!!!
