RC8 rebuild
 
im going to rebuild all the diffs and shocks...

does any1 have any good tips about what weight diff and shock oil to use?

i like 555 575 777 stock setup is 573

I run 555 in my diffs, never tried anything else so I can't speak on any other setups. As for the shocks if you're running Big Bores 6x1.4 pistons and 30 or 35wt in front and 6x1.2 or 10x1.1 pistons and 25wt in the rear should be a good starting point.

5k in all the diffs works best for me too.

Do you have the big bores or original shocks?

With the regular shocks I prefered 35wt front and rear with the 1.5x2 pistons. I think they come built with 1.6x2 and 45wt oil from the factory.
