OS 2050 for the v-spec and OS 2060 for the OS Speed. JP3 will work but you'll lose fuel mileage. I use the AE factory team pipe, but I noticed you have to know how to tune your motors with that pipe. Its a little touchy at times on the indoor tracks, outdoor have had no problems.

I did run the AE pipe this weekend on my truggy with a trinity motor. I ran 5min qualifiers and 2min warm up and still had a half tank. The motor only temped out at 165. My buggy I run the Speed motor with the AE pipe and works great. This weekend I'm putting the V-spec back in the truggy with the AE pipe, the trinity was a loaner. I let you know how that runs later with that pipe.

The Losi RE11 is the one you mean, it's a direct copy of the OS 2050.

I've used 3 pipes with great success on my V-specs, the JP-3, the TTR-2035 (AE FT pipe), and the EB Mods 2041. The power and the response with the JP-3 is fantastic, and I easily went 8-9 minutes in my truggy (was an MBX5T then). I currently run the TTR-2035 on my Losi buggy and I like it a lot, 8-9 min. with it also. I now run the EB mods 2041 in my MBX6T truggy and that pipe is fantastic, power like the JP-3 but with better mileage, 10-11 minutes.
Both of my V-specs are 3-4 gallons old, one EB-mods from 2007 (buggy) and the other is a stocker with a speed crank and JP-modified porting. I run 30% nitro fuel, just as a reference.

Good luck!

I have run both the RE10 and JP3 and like both. A few weeks ago in Columbus OH, I ran 10 minutes with the JP3 and had a little fuel left in the tank. Not much wide-open racing with a tight track.
I don't like the RE11. I have never seen one really run right on any engine.

I use to run 053 pipes but since I started running os speed engines the os 2060 (2042) pipes are the best foe these vspec engines. The power is smooth and the mileage is great. I have a heavy finger and the tracks I run on are med to large so I'm not getting the 12 min mileage I usually pit around 8 mins no matter what I don't like to run out of gas, it's happened before and it's not fun. I seem to get between 9:30-10:30 in both the buggy and truggy. Bit I am very very happy with the 2060 pipes they are not for everyone and they are a bit pricy but they work very very well.

Like most have already said the best pipes for VSPEC are the OS ones. If you have the original VSPEC go with the 2050, if you have a SPEED then the 2060 is the way to go. The 2050 has a little more low end and a little more power down low but the 2060 is smoother and has a little better top end. I have both 2050 and 2060 and four VSPECs two Speeds and two regular and wish one I use is dictated by the track but most of the time I use the combination above. I also like the AE pipe and it gives a good power band to the engine. As far as milage goes I get great runtime with all three, but this depends so much on driving style, tune and the track ou are on that what I might get is not the same for everyone.
