Hi Guys,
Looks like great weather and a great turnout expected for the R/C Pro
Series in Rome. I am posting a bit of info so you all have an idea
what is planned for the weekend.
Of course camping is free and we have plenty of room for anyone
staying over. Just be sure to leave our marked roadway "lanes" clear.
New this year, we will be transmitting the race announcing and
computer sounds on FM 88.7. In addition to our 11 speaker sound
system, we will have the FM broadcast to help reach those camping at
the far ends of the pit area.
Also, we will be broadcasting live on Live RC @ www.liverc.com.
As usual at CRC, this will be a "wet" race. We will be watering in a
proper, professsional manner in an effort to keep the track together
and keep our boat neighbors happy. We are racers and we will be
consistant with our watering so we do not effect the results.
After missing last year, Barbi-Q's food truck (new improved and
larger) will be back serving food at the track. They arrive at 5 PM
Friday and will be serving breakfast both days as well as the normal
lunch and dinner and will be there through Sunday.
There is limited AC at the track. No compressors nor air conditioners
running off our power. We have a large air compressor with 2 air guns
for your use.
Practice;
Friday
9 AM to 9 PM with some breaks for maintenance and water. Scheduled 30
minute breaks at noon, 3 and 6 PM.
Controlled practice may start at some point in the afternoon. This
will probably consist of no fuel bottles, limiting the driver to 7 – 9
minutes of running. 15 drivers max on the stand.
Saturday
Practice:
7 Am to 8:15 PM - For those who did not practice Friday
8 AM registration closes
8:30 Drivers meeting
9:00 Am qualifying starts
4 rounds of Qual points. It is probable that we will run the last
round under the lights.
Sunday
Sunday - 8:30 Drivers meeting. Lower mains start at 9 am. There will
be an A Main practice before the B Mains start.

LOL... Billy cleaned house. He TQed and Won Pro Truggy, Buggy, and Electric Buggy.
It was great meeting him for the first time too. Really cool guy and fun racing with him. I even got to mix it up with him for a qualifier too.
