Grabbing the wrong battery pack, thinking it was fully charged and trying to race. Made a few laps and then it died

While pitting for someone, he flipped right in front of pit lane, marshal didnt see. Ran on the track and stopped his engine. I thought he was telling me to turn it off. It was 20 feet from where it was suppose to be and he was revin the sh!t out of it, so I thought run away. Yeah, was not pretty.

Almost 15 years ago i had a run away with my first nitro car, (RC10GT). It took off and smashed into my garage at full speed. The pipe came off and it was screaming loud, i ran to it and panicked, jammed my finger in the flywheel to stop it. Ive still got the scar on my finger. I guess the saying is true, if your gonna be dumb, you better be tough.

I put one of my diffs in backwards in my Jammin and when I gave it throttle it was digging a hole in one spot, was too funny for me, now I know the diff gear is always on the left side of the box. Duhhh!!!

well i thought id be smart and fire up one of my .18 engines in a bench vice to see how it ran after changing to another carb. hmmm fired up fine and ran for a few min's then the thing vibrated out of the vice and hit the concrete floor in my shed with no throttle spring , it went f%$king crazzzy ,vibrating across the floor, i went to pick it up and it was red hot and burnt my hand lol not good . busted one of the fins off it but . its all good still runs tothis day

My most recent: Rebuilding my diffs backwards and not realizing it until I put it on the ground. Even thought the engine might have started backwards for a second but watching it speed off in reverse I almost but not quite, more or less kind of immediately realized my mistake.

Local park, wintertime, brand new Tmaxx with a stock radio. The guy was playing on the track, such as it is, and someone else on the same "color", turned their radio on. The TMaxx sped off to the east towards the lake, which was frozen. You might think that being frozen is a good thing, might keep the truck on top of the lake. The TMaxx sped out toward the middle of the lake and found a soft spot in the ice.

I ran into a tetherball pole at wot with my Kyosho USA1 Nitro Crusher. The chassis brace popped of and it looked like a taco. Thought "what the hell?", put it over my knee and bent it back. Popped the chassis braces back on and the O.S. RFB fired right back up.

This past weekend, had a bad qualifying. Qualified for the B-Main in truggy. Finished the A-Main in buggy, marshaled the C-Main truggy, then raced the B-Main truggy. I went from marshaling to on the stand for the B-main within a couple minutes. I forgot to fill my tank before the race started. Went out for the B-main with a quarter tank. Got out front and started to build a nice gap from the rest of the field. Ran out of fuel and flamed out. Poop.

before R/C I used to race Thundercats{http://www.brisbanecoastthundercats.com.au/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=2622}
We packed up 2 boats and headed to Newcastle {10 hours drive}
Got to the beach and discovered propellers{10} for both boats were sitting on the garage floor at home.

I raced my first "big" race a couple weekends ago. Well in the 5 min practice that we got before the mains started, start my car up on pit wall, letting it warm up, hand things over to my pit man, walk to the bottom of the drivers stand to wait for the other drivers to walk off. Once I get up there I look down at my pit man to tell him to set my car down... Well I see my starter box and pit man but no car.. He had put the car down already without me being on the drivers stand. So I was blipping the throttle and revving it like crazy to get the engine cleared out during this time.. the best part was it ended up about 10 ft away from where I was standing at the bottom of the drivers stand and didn't even realize.. I felt pretty stupid
